Wedding Ceremony at the Historic Herman Grima House
Step into the timeless romance of the couple's wedding ceremony in the historic courtyard behind Broussard's wedding venue, nestled in the heart of the French Quarter. Against the backdrop of the picturesque Herman Grima House, the couple's processional was a moment of pure elegance and anticipation. The bride, adorned in the exquisite Jess Gown by Eva Lendel, customized to a strapless neckline from Town & Country in New Orleans, LA, radiated beauty as she made her way down the aisle, accompanied by the soft strains of music and the loving gazes of family and friends. Her ensemble, completed with the True Love veil by Toni Federici and heels by J. Renee, added a touch of sophistication to the occasion. The groom, dashing in a custom tux from Fairclough & Co in Charlotte, NC, stood waiting at the altar, a vision of anticipation and love. Together, surrounded by the historic charm of the French Quarter, they exchanged vows and sealed their love in a ceremony as timeless and beautiful as their love story.
Second Line through the French Quarter
With colorful dresses swirling and laughter filling the air, the second line parade becomes a symphony of joy and love. Amidst the historic architecture, the couple's journey is captured, evoking the magic of their day. Together, surrounded by the warmth and energy of their loved ones, they create memories to last a lifetime in the heart of New Orleans.
After the ceremony and second line parade, the couple stole away to a private room with only their immediate family to share a quiet toast and sign their marriage license. Away from the hustle and bustle of the festivities, they savored a moment of intimacy and reflection, surrounded by their closest loved ones. With glasses raised and hearts full, they celebrated the beginning of their new chapter together, toasting to love, happiness, and the journey ahead. It was a cherished moment of connection and celebration, marking the official start of their married life together.
Jackie and Sanders booked me for 8 hours of continuous coverage on their wedding day. They also brought me in to cover their welcome party the night before, to view that gallery, click here.
Their locations were Broussard’s and Herman Grima House for the ceremony and reception. They chose Big Fun Brass Band for their second line, and Kelsey with Mint Julep was their wedding planner.
