My Approach
Weddings are intimate celebrations. No matter the size of your guest list, who you choose to invite is important - your closest friends and family all coming together to celebrate you and your partner. My goal is to document you and your relationships with those around you. Letting moments unfold naturally, so that you have a gallery of honest experiences to look back on for all the years to come.
-
My style is a blend of candid photojournalism, landscapes, and modern editorial portraiture. Throughout most of your wedding day, I take an observational approach—anticipating genuine, unscripted moments as they unfold naturally. When it comes to portraits, I provide relaxed, intentional direction rather than stiff, traditional posing, ensuring you look effortless while feeling like yourself.
As seen on TV: Want a preview of how I work behind the scenes? Catch the New Orleans season of Married at First Sight on Netflix to see my process in action.
-
Timeless, clean, and film-like. I photograph and edit with a commitment to true color and natural ambiance, ensuring your images feel timeless, elevated, and entirely true to your wedding day.
-
Yes. We use a hybrid approach of both digital and film. Film is incorporated thoughtfully throughout the day when lighting, scenery, and moments are best suited for it. I’m happy to share more details about our film process on our intro call.
-
Absolutely. Mention it in your initial inquiry or video call, and we’ll send over a selection.
“It was so wonderful having you as our photographer. You were so unobtrusive but took incredible photos of the day's event. Thank you so much. It was such a magical day for all of us and your photos captured the feeling of love, happiness and joy that we all experienced. It was just the best day.”
- Kind words from a recent Mother of the Bride
A note on skin tones and color accuracy - This is something I take very seriously. There are many trends in wedding photography that you won’t find here. I believe that documenting honest, real moments means delivering real, honest skin tones and colors in your images.
