Suzanne and Bryan chose the Terrell House Bed and Breakfast as their location to elope in New Orleans. After their short ceremony, I was happy to sign as a witness on their marriage documents. We spent a few minutes after their ceremony taking portraits in the areas around the Bed and Breakfast.

Kelli and Chad chose to elope in Jackson Square (in the French Quarter) under the branches of a large oak tree. Following their ceremony the bride and groom and all of their guests proceeded to second line through the streets of the French Quarter. We parted ways at Pat O’Briens on Bourbon Street where they continued their party.
This couple booked 1 hour of photography coverage for their elopement with one photographer.

Brittany and Garrett stopped by NOLA for a quick weekend trip to get away from the Pittsburgh winter and chose to hire me for a little French Quarter Portrait Session.
We met for a morning portrait session in the French Quarter. It was a little rainy and a lot humid. It felt like walking through a cloud outside without the fog. That led to a bit of a cinematic feel that worked in our favor!

When your bride and groom request to grab a Lucky Dog on their wedding day, you know you're in for a fun day!
Leslie and Josh's French Quarter wedding had it all! Personalized details, incredible sunset second line, and a courtyard wedding reception party filled with dancing and laughter. I enjoyed photographing their wedding day and from all of the smiles in their photos, I'd say their friends and family had a blast along with the bride and groom.

Rae and Christian eloped at the Historic Park View Guest House surrounded by their closest friends and family.
After a bit of furniture rearranging, the Park View Guest House's first-floor parlor made for a beautiful, intimate backdrop for their short elopement ceremony. Beautifully written vows left the entire room looking for tissues. Once their ceremony was finished, the group posed for a couple quick, fun group photos and then I took the couple for a short walk near Audubon Park for a portrait session. The high July humidity didn't affect them one bit! Enjoy their images below, and leave some love in the comments for the couple!
The Cannery in Mid-City, New Orleans hosted one heck of a party for their 5-year anniversary. Check out a few of my favorite detail photos here then click the link to The Cannery to see the rest!
Bee's Wedding and Event Design knocked it out of the park on the decor for the party. Great color palette, trendy seating areas, and killer floral/table combinations!
I love The Cannery for their sleek, modern look, modular design, and giant bar. Also, it's pretty cool that they have a lighting system that can be customized to match and enhance any color palette. If you're looking for a wedding or reception venue outside of The French Quarter, with parking, and close proximity to the streetcar line, go tour The Cannery!
Mandy and John joined us in New Orleans on holiday for their May elopement.
So, I'm never going on vacation again. From now on, it's holiday!
Mandy and John have known each other for years and their connection is unmistakable. It was an absolute pleasure to be around them both. John mentioned that their timing throughout the years was never quite right. Whether it was other relationships, jobs, or life, it was always something. But their patience paid off when they both reconnected and found their happiness together.
