Terrell House Bed and Breakfast Elopement | Suzanne and Bryan elope in the Lower Garden District

Suzanne and Bryan chose the Terrell House Bed and Breakfast as their location to elope in New Orleans. After their short ceremony, I was happy to sign as a witness on their marriage documents. We spent a few minutes after their ceremony taking portraits in the areas around the Bed and Breakfast.

French Quarter Portraits | Brittany & Garrett

Brittany and Garrett stopped by NOLA for a quick weekend trip to get away from the Pittsburgh winter and chose to hire me for a little French Quarter Portrait Session.

French Quarter Engagement Portrait Session Photographer

We met for a morning portrait session in the French Quarter. It was a little rainy and a lot humid. It felt like walking through a cloud outside without the fog. That led to a bit of a cinematic feel that worked in our favor!

Engagement Photos at Stella Plantation | Taren & Wade

I can not wait for Taren and Wade's wedding at The Barn at Stella plantation! They were so much fun to photograph. Even the freezing temperatures and piercing wind gusts couldn't keep the smiles off of their faces.
We started the session casually with a walk through the branches of the lazy tree. Wade told the story of their first date. We followed those images with a bit of a hike across the grounds through the overgrown brush to the magnificent moss covered oaks. They made for quite the backdrop. 10 out of 10, great session!

Engagement Session in the CBD | Emily & Danny, New Orleans, La

I'm so excited for their upcoming wedding at the newly renovated NOPSI Hotel

Emily and Danny are the sweetest. We started their session at the Catahoula Hotel in the CBD. It was pretty chill considering we scheduled during the first Saints home game happening just a few blocks away. From the Catahoula, we stopped by the NOPSI for a quick change before UBERing to the river to mix up the backdrops.
10 out of 10. Great, fun photoshoot!

Crescent Park, French Quarter Engagement Session | Bailee & Ryan

I had a blast photographing Bailee and Ryan's engagement session. We met in the Bywater near that big rusty pedestrian bridge and got to photographing not long after.

My engagement sessions are very chill. It's about you, the couple. I try my best to pull out your personalities while documenting your reactions to each other. Prompts like, "whisper her favorite dessert into her ear in your sexiest voice" is along the lines of what you should expect to hear from me before I activate my camera's shutter mechanism like a mad man.

It's quite obvious that Bailee and Ryan had a blast with each other on the shoot and got some really incredible, personal photographs out of it that they can treasure for the rest of their lives.

Now on to the images!
Oh also, Kelly Massicot over at Renaissance Publishing (New Orleans Bride, St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans Magazine) wrote a much more well written blog post about their images on the Let Them Eat Cake Wedding Blog on Check out her word skills by clicking the link above.
